"Patty loves to rock n' roll, a hot dog makes her lose control!"

While at work this summer, a co-worker asked me if I'd like to listen to some internet radio. I said sure, so he read off the list of channel choices available at Netscape Radio. We didn't seem to agree on much, so we finally settled on the channel called TV Tunes. Now I have this burning desire to listen to it every day. Problem is, I can only do it at work, because it won't run on a Mac. I'm afriaid I'm driving my coworkers bonkers, though, but I can't help myself, it's seriously like the best thing ever!!
They play a variety of TV picks-- theme songs, songs featured on shows, songs inspired by shows, and even audio clips of dialogue from shows. Some selections they have played as of late: The Dating Game Theme, a song by one of the monster-creatures on The Muppets who can only sort grunt and make funny noises ("Mahna Mahna"), a weird tune from The Chipmunks called "Japanese Bananas", CHiPS Theme song, CatDog Theme song, the theme from The Patty Duke Show, "Sugar, Sugar" by the Archies, the theme from The Banana Splits, The Joker's Wild theme song, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. theme song, Twin Peaks theme song, the Spam Song from Monty Python......

And yeah, occasionally they'll play something shitty, like the Dawson's Creek theme, or maybe one of those awful songs from Ally McBeal, but all in all, this station rules. It's the next best thing to watching TV while I'm at work. I can listen to it, and still get some work done. TV (especially theme songs) just calms me down, makes me feel safe and secure and all fuzzy inside. Especially when they play late 70s-era game show songs. Those rule.
